Dominus Gladiatus Achievements Guide: All 23
All 23 Dominus Gladiatus achievements with unlock conditions and global rates, from A Good Investment to the six Domini victory achievements.
Dominus Gladiatus ships with 23 Steam achievements. Most are tutorial-level actions that unlock naturally in the first ten hours; the hard ones are the six Domini victory campaigns, which require finishing the 165-day tournament with each leader. The global unlock rates are a useful map of what players actually do.
Quick answer
The easiest achievements are facility and staff interactions: hire a slave, rest in the Quarters, heal an injury, use the Doctore's whip. The rarest are the six campaign victories. Plan one full campaign per Domini if you want 100%, and use the facility achievements as a checklist for learning the systems.

Which achievements should you chase first?
The natural progression:
- A Good Investment on your first market purchase.
- A Well-Earned Rest on your first Quarters stay.
- To the Death on your first lethal bout.
- Back on His Feet on your first Infirmary heal.
- Under the Whip on your first Doctore whip.
- Raise Their Spirits on your first Pleasure House visit.
- Work the Crowd on your first pre-fight crowd action.
- Favor of the Gods on your first Temple prayer.
- A Profitable Journey on your first Procurator contract.
- Built to Last on your first Faber protection.
- The Hunt Begins on your first Venator hunt.
- Sword for Hire on your first hired Sword for Hire.
These are all learn-by-playing achievements. You do not need a special strategy; you need to use each system once.
How do the Domini power achievements work?
Five achievements are tied to using a Domini's power:
- Bend the Rules - Titus Aurelian's power.
- No Time to Rest - Aurelia Zahara's power.
- A Touch of Poison - Livia Calpurnia's power.
- Mind Games - Decimus Amborix's power.
The exact activation condition depends on the campaign and the power. Check the Domini trait card and the power button in the Ludus UI. If the button is greyed out, the power may be on cooldown or unavailable in the current campaign.
Khepri and Cassius do not have a separate "use power" achievement in the list; their achievements are the victory campaigns.
How hard are the six victory achievements?
A full campaign is 165 days. The global rates (2-5%) reflect the time commitment, not necessarily difficulty. The fastest route to 100% is to finish one campaign, learn the loop, then repeat with each Domini while varying the build.
Practical completion notes:
- The campaign can be won on Forgiving or Classic; you do not need Ruthless for the victory achievements unless the achievement text says so.
- Each campaign has the same 23-achievement list, so the facility achievements auto-complete again if you use the systems.
- Keep a save before the final so you can retire and review the summary without losing the run.
- The post-game contracts do not block the victory achievement; the final is the unlock.
The Grand Tournament guide → covers the 165-day route.
Are any achievements missable?
The facility achievements are available in every campaign as long as you use the system. The Domini power achievements require the relevant campaign or power access. The victory achievements require finishing the campaign with that Domini.
If you are chasing 100%, do not delete a campaign save before the final. The victory achievement unlocks at the end, and the retirement summary is separate.

FAQ
How many achievements are there? 23 at launch.
What is the rarest achievement? The Aurelia Zahara victory is the lowest in the list at about 2%, followed by Livia at 2.1%.
Do I need Ruthless for the victory achievements? The achievement text says "win the game with" a Domini. It does not specify difficulty. Classic or Forgiving should qualify unless the in-game description says otherwise.
